Another excellent match report from our very own Wordsworth Joe!

For those interested - we were still missing Diarmuid Kelly (England) and myself (Hamstrung). Joe forgot to mention that and I feel its entirely relevant. I have another match report drawn up for what would have happenned had I played. Let me know who wants to see it.

Hi would that be Dairmuid or Diarmaid, I think it the latter

I wrote it Grievesy and if Radio Ulster had been in attendance you would have came on with 5 minutes to go and score 2 points in the dying seconds and the aggies would have split the points. By the way Brendan I have my ulster medal.

Good report on the match - who wrote it? Are we allowed to know? It must have been Davey Caldwell - "way out on the right" - indeed!

Re Annual Dinner

Folks its only one week to go until the Annual Dinner. This promises to be a great nights entertainment and I would encourage you to contact either Joe Compston or myself to order your tickets. All info regarding this is on the home page of this website. Support your club and come along to the Annual Dinner. Many thanks

The Gear is ready to be ordered there was a bit of confusion with the Jersey so we are just waiting on one more design before the go ahead happens.

Any sign of all this new gear?

Well done to Conor Compston on making the county U-16 development squad. Great to see an Aggies man on this.

ps to emulate me you need to play 4 mins in the Ulster Final and still score 2 points (as per Radio Ulster - I still have the recording).

St Agnes' Annual dinner takes place on April 30th in Fruithill Bowling club.  On the night a traditional group Creave Rua followed by Disco will provide the entertainment, and the clubs annual lotto draw will also take place, with £2800 up for grabs.  Tickets are only £25 per person, and a guaranteed superb night will be had.  All those interested contact Chirs Ward or Joe Compston to book your place(phone numbers available under committee section).  There is already a huge interest, so dont delay.

unlukey to all U16 hurlers, today... lets hope we can redeem ourselfs in to weeks time!

Message to all the U16 hurlers well done last week to run Rossa and Keady to a couple of points is a good achievement. This improvement can be put down to the many coaching sessions you have had, since October last year.

Now the real game begins on Sunday V Portaferry and its up to all of you to prove what you can do, I have no doubt with the full squad and correct attitude you will be successful.

The club is fully behind all of you and will support your every need.

Hurling is an ART and you have been chosen to preform

See you all on Sunday

Played our first u16 hurling matches today. got beat by Rossa in the first game by 2 points and if we had put over half of our frees we would have won the game handy. Also got beaten by Keady by 2points. Both excellant hurling games. Portaferry next  week
