FAO Members and Friends of St Agnes' GAC:

The club is running a Night At The Races on Friday 2nd July in Casement Social Club. There will be music by Take it Easy and it promises to be a great nights entertainment.

The main purpose of the evening is to raise much needed funds for your club. I would therefore appeal to all of you to try and sponsor the event if you possibly can.

Sponsor Amounts:
Race - £100
Horse - £10

If you can sponsor the event I would ask you to contact either myself via email  or on 07540863326 or Joe Compston on 07719952072.

If you would like to take either a full or half page advert in the programme, please contact either Joe or myself.

Your club needs your support and I would encourage you to make every effort to sponsor and attend the event.

Many Thanks
Chris Ward

Hard luck to all the U-16s tonight. I'm devastated for every single one of you. As Raymond said, every player did himself and this club proud, although that's perhaps little consolation. Every man can stand tall after such a gutsy performance and take some of the very many positives on board. There's still a lot of football left in this year and let's get focused on next Thursday and get back to winning ways.
A special thanks to the four lads who turned round a fielded for the South Antrim team afterwards.

Keep it lit lads!

Hi Ryan, yes really unlucky, you all played to win, you went for it and there were very many excellent performances (was their anybody who did'nt play well), I am proud of every one of you, I am gutted we came up short but I am confident that the effort and committment was total and that in time that will bring success, See you all at training on Saturday.  Ray

just wanted to thank you on behalf of St Mary's GAC, Rasharkin for the invite to the U14 blitz last Sunday. It was extremely well organised and we were very well treated. Players and mentors were very appreciative of the drinks and snacks for the way home. I'm sure our club would be interested in participating next year if an invitation was forthcoming at that stage.

Many thanks again

On behalf of the Mulgrew family - thanks to all at those involved in pulling together today's tournament. It was a fantastic event and I know how much behind the scenes work goes into a competition like that.

There were some highlights, including the Naomh Og fellas battling their way into the final, especially after picking up injuries early on. Then they fought their way back into the match itself when they looked out of it. The semi final marathon between Sarsfields and St Malachy's was great too.

Thanks to the referees, the groundsmen, the linesmen and umpires, those who secured sponsorship, and coached the teams, the pitch officials, the admin staff who controlled operations and the very many parents, and supporters who turned out on the day.
