What? GAA training for young people, boys and girls, of all ages.
Where? Woodlands playing fields, Finaghy Road North.
When? Saturday and Sunday mornings, 11am.
How? It couldn’t be simpler. Just turn up, bring your playing gear, your football boots and your enthusiasm.
Naomh Una GAC is a GAA club based in west Belfast and built on the success and participation of our juvenile players. Each Saturday morning a team of fully qualified coaches, with all required statutory training, provide supervised training for boys and girls of all ability and experience. The training is fun, healthy and encourages personal and team development. Our young teams have been very successful in recent years, in both hurling and football. St Agnes players often go on to play for the school teams. Scor and Irish Language Quiz
The Club will be entering both Scor and the Irish Language quiz. Anybody interested in these events should contact Conor Caldwell (07749960638) or Chris Ward (07540863326).
Registration nights
This year the club will be holding 2 nights for club members to come and register with St Agnes GAC. If you want to play hurling or football for St Agnes GAC you need to be registered. The 03/02/2010 will be the first official club registration event. Members can turn up at the Club between 7.00pm and 9.00pm. A payment plan facility is available. Members can sign up to this on the night.

Hurling team Meeting
New hurling manager Kevin McGreevy has requested that all members wishing to play hurling this year attend a meeting at the club on Wednesday 20th January at 8.30pm (or after training). Please attend this important meeting!
Note for Hurlers
As you may be aware the GAA has introduced a rule regarding the wearing of hurling helmets (with faceguard). All players from juvenile to senior are now required to wear a helmet while training and during matches, with no exceptions. Referees have been instructed that matches cannot take place unless ever hurler is wearing a helmet; the rule also extends to hurling training sessions. St Agnes will not be supplying hurling helmets for senior members of the club.
Training for All Senior club members
Training for all club senior members will take place on Wednesday 20th January at QUB playing fields (the dub), players should meet at 6.45pm sharp at the dub for a 7pm start. Details of further session are to be confirmed. All senior club members interested in playing senior football or hurling should attend.
